Who we are
Louis Byrne is a transformation artist, creative activist, coach, and founder of I Can I Am and I Will (ICIAIW)—an empowerment and wellbeing movement rooted in working class identity, resilience, and radical self-belief
Raised on a council estate in Northampton, Louis began his hair‑cutting journey at a young age, inspired by family and community. Over time, his skill and soul led him into styling for icons like Vicky McClure, Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith, and luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, and L’Oréal.
The ICIAIW Movement
In 2018, after facing addiction, trauma, and becoming HIV positive, Louis created a mantra to guide his own recovery: “I Can. I Am. I Will.” That personal reminder has since become a globally recognised empowerment movement that blends creativity, care, identity, and healing.
ICIAIW creates immersive experiences — from pop‑up booths and portrait exhibitions in Soho, to school programmes in partnership with La Passerelle SEMH School — embedding journaling time and creative reflection into everyday life intentionally building resilience in communities that are often overlooked.
“You don’t need permission to be powerful — you just need to show up.”
Philosophy & Purpose
Louis uses his lived experience — from trauma and grief to queer identity, addiction recovery, and rebuilding life post-HIV diagnosis — to help others find clarity, confidence, and creative purpose. His method isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence. It’s not self-help; it’s truth‑help.
ICIAIW has featured on ITV, collaborated with Soho House, hosted community pop‑ups, art exhibitions, and immersive booths — all designed to elevate storytelling, creative leadership, and connection.
“I’m not here to fit in — I’m here to open the door for others like me.”
What Louis Does
Empowerment Coaching & Reset Plan: A 3‑month transformational journey combining personal reflection, mindset alignment, and clarity coaching grounded in real-life storytelling and soulful tools.
Workshops & Masterclasses: Creative wellbeing sessions for schools, salons, brands, and communities — built around the ICIAIW philosophy and practical empowerment tools.
Junior Reset Programme: Age-appropriate, school-integrated resilience training empowering young people (10–16) through identity journaling, emotional literacy, and creative thinking in collaboration with educational institutions.
“Creativity saved me. Now I use it to help others reset, reclaim and rise.”
Why It Matters
Because creativity without care isn’t culture.
Because working-class voices deserve airtime, authenticity, and articulation.
Because I Can. I Am. I Will. isn’t just affirmation — it’s action.

““Working-class voices aren’t missing — they’ve just been muted. I’m here to turn us all the way up.”
— Louis Byrne
