ICIAIW x La Passerelle at Channel Islands Pride
Youth Power. Pride. Purpose.
In an electrifying two-day activation, La Passerelle School partnered with Louis Byrne and his transformational empowerment movement I Can I Am and I Will (#ICIAIW) to take over the Youth Zone at Channel Islands Pride—creating a bold, inclusive space for the next generation to shine.
Day One: Pure Vibes on the Water
We kicked things off with a Pre-Pride Boat Party aboard the iconic Jersey Duchess, hosted by Louis Byrne himself, with special guest DJ Mark Manning from Inspiration FM bringing the energy.
As the sun set, so did our barriers. The event was a celebration of identity, community, and unapologetic self-expression. With music, movement, and open hearts, we raised our flags high and got ready for Pride.
Day Two: The Youth Zone Takeover
Louis Byrne brought his full ICIAIW energy to the Youth Zone, transforming it into a sanctuary of self-expression, empowerment, and reflection.
The Confession Booth – A safe, expressive space where young people set their personal manifestos, let go of limitations, and claimed their truth.
Empowering Hair Makeovers – Louis worked his magic with transformative styling that helped young people see themselves as powerful, proud, and unapologetically them.
Portraits by Liam Buddy – Acclaimed photographer Liam Buddy captured raw, radiant portraits that celebrated the energy and individuality of each participant.
Chill-Out & DJ Zone – A mindful space to pause, reflect, and recharge—complete with DJ lessons, laid-back vibes, and powerful conversations.
Student-Made Merch – Students from La Passerelle designed and sold custom ICIAIW T-shirts and mugs, putting creativity and purpose front and centre.
Flying the Flag for Inclusion
Together, we marched in the Channel Islands Pride parade, proudly flying the I CAN I AM AND I WILL flag—a symbol of hope, empowerment, and radical inclusivity.
This wasn’t just a celebration—it was a statement.
That LGBTQIA+ youth matter.
That their voices, visions, and identities are not only valid—they’re vital.
That we rise higher, together.
